Gabriel Agbonlahor reckons Chelsea need to sign a prolific striker to win the Premier League title with the current roster not the answer for Graham Potter.
The Blues brought in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last summer from Barcelona in a deadline day move to bolster the options up front but the ex-Arsenal star is yet to hit the ground running in a consistent manner.
He failed to find the back of the net on Tuesday night against RB Salzburg despite having a number of opportunities and there have been suggestions that the new Chelsea head coach Graham Potter should dip into the market for a fresh face.
Chelsea have been recently linked with a move for RB Leipzig talisman Christopher Nkunku with reports doing the rounds that the Stamford Bridge club have an agreement in place to sign the talented Frenchman next summer.

🤨 “I felt like a sharper striker takes the right touch and dinks the keeper there.”

Speaking to talkSPORT after Chelsea’s win over Salzburg, Agbonlahor said that the Blues should be after a new striker to reinforce their front line with Aubameyang’s finishing in the game far from convincing.
“The only missing part for Chelsea I thought was Aubameyang’s finishing.
“I felt the one where they had about 15 passes and it got placed across to him from [Kai] Havertz, I feel like a sharp striker takes the right touch and dinks the keeper there, finishes if. Maybe that’s what Chelsea are missing to go for the title.”
