Brighton wing-back Marc Cucurella has reached full agreement on personal terms with Chelsea who are looking to complete the transfer swiftly.
Thomas Tuchel’s west Londoners have hijacked Manchester City’s approach for the Spanish left-back with the Stamford Bridge camp willing to meet Brighton’s £50m valuation, something that had put off Manchester City.
Full agreement now reached between Chelsea and Cucurella on personal terms. Potential contract has been proposal approved, Marc’s prepared to accept once clubs agree on fee. 🚨🔵 #CFC

According to a report from the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, an agreement on personal terms between the player and Chelsea is in place and Chelsea will go into talks with Brighton once again to complete the long-awaited deal.
Cucurella’s arrival at the Bridge could set the stage for a couple of outgoings from Tuchel’s squad in the form of Malang Sarr and Marcos Alonso, the latter of whom plays in the same left-sided wing-back role as that of Cucurella.
Alonso is wanted by La Liga giants FC Barcelona with the Catalans hoping to snap up the Spain international in a cut-price transfer with the 30-year-old entering the final 12 months of his contract in the Chelsea fold.
