Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing up a summer move for Chelsea maestro N’Golo Kante who could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in the coming months.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman has been one of the most influential names on the Chelsea team sheet in recent years but is yet to sign a new deal that would extend his stay at the Bridge beyond the summer of 2023.
According to a report from the Spanish news outlet Fichajes, it is claimed that Real Madrid are on the hunt for reinforcements in the centre of the park to provide competition for the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will push for Kante to renew his terms in the English capital and sign a long-term contract with Tuchel losing out on the likes of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger this coming summer on free transfers.
While Christensen is reportedly on the verge of joining his longstanding suitors FC Barcelona, Rudiger’s future hangs in the balance with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich keeping close tabs on his situation.
