Arsenal could emerge surprise contenders to land the signature of Chelsea’s in-demand striker Tammy Abraham who is backed to call it quits at Stamford Bridge ahead of the start of the new season.
Abraham has been wanted by both West Ham United and Aston Villa in this summer’s transfer window but Chelsea’s pricing demands have put the former off on making a concrete offer for the England international.
Chelsea hope to find a buyer for Abraham in Arsenal this summer
Reports from The Telegraph suggest that Arsenal, who have signed a number of players from the Blues in recent years, could join the fray for Abraham who has seen sparse first-team involvement coming his way since Thomas Tuchel took over in January.
The fact that the Chelsea man is a boyhood supporter of the North London giants could further aid Arsenal’s cause to sign him ahead of other interested parties in West Ham United and Aston Villa.
Abraham could become the second striker to leave Chelsea after Giroud
The veteran French forward Olivier Giroud is expected to land in Milan anytime to sign for AC Milan who have negotiated a €2 million deal with Chelsea for the World Cup-winning striker.
Should Arsenal amp up their interest in signing Abraham from Chelsea this summer, Thomas Tuchel will be in line to lose out on another striker from his first-team ranks heading into the new campaign/
