Chelsea are sure to be handed a major blow on the Erling Haaland front with Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc claiming that the Germans were planning for the upcoming season with their star striker in the picture.
Haaland has been heavily linked with an exit from the Bundesliga giants and a move to Stamford Bridge in this summer’s transfer window as Thomas Tuchel remains keen on signing his former player.
Tuchel’s lack of proven goal-getters in the Chelsea camp has lured the German coach into scouting the transfer market for fresh blood to shore up his frontline names with Haaland the top name on his shopping list.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund’s Michael Zorc has asserted that the 20-year-old Haaland is central to the German club’s plans heading into the open of the 2021-22 campaign, giving a slight hint to Chelsea that the in-demand Norway international might not be for sale this summer.
Chelsea have already been dealt a blow on the transfer front this summer with Tuchel’s other target Romelu Lukaku insisting his desire to stay put at San Siro with Serie A holders Inter Milan despite the Blues’ desire of bringing back the Belgian to west London.
