Chelsea have offloaded Victor Moses on a permanent transfer to Russian club Spartak Moscow with the winger concluding his nine-year-long run at Stamford Bridge, state reports from the club’s official website.
Moses had been shipped out on a spree of spells in the recent past with his latest one being at his new side for whom he featured in 20 outings last season, scoring four goals and proving two assists in the process.
With the Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel expected to ring in major changes in this summer’s transfer window, there had been speculation that a number of fringe players in the first-team ranks on west London will be departing.

Besides Moses, talk of midfield duo Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tiémoué Bakayoko leaving Chelsea ahead of the commencement of the 2021-22 season has gained ground in recent weeks.
There is a chance, however, that Tuchel could be giving a lifeline to both players in the forthcoming pre-season camp with the duo expected to showcase their worth for a spot in the Chelsea squad.
