Chelsea beats Luton Town 3-1 to reach their fifth-round of the FA Cup as Tammy Abraham scores a stunning hattrick. The Blues took the lead just in 11 minutes when Timo Werner delivered a low cross and tammy Abraham converted it with ease.
Luton’s player protested during the first goal as two balls were on the field during the Chelsea goal but the referee didn’t entertain their protests and continued the play.
Just after six minutes, Chelsea made it 6-0 when Tamy Abraham again soared high up in the sky to head the ball from Reece James into the opposition goal.
Luton indicated to come back in the game when Jordan Clarke struck from a short-range of Kepa Arrizabalaga to make it 2-1. Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa prevented a scare with a fantastic save of Harry Cornick’s shot to keep his side’s lead.
Chelsea sealed the game as Tammy Abraham scored a tap-in to complete his hattrick after a team build-up led to a Callum Hudson Odoi’s cross.
Chelsea has an opportunity to add one extra goal to the scoreline when they received a penalty kick, but Timo Werner missed just five minutes away from the full-time.
Although the coach has faith, Werner’s misery in the field still continues as he struggles to find form. Chelsea will face Barnsley in the fifth round next month.
