Chelsea is already setting eyes on talented players to upgrade their future squad and make themselves ready for future challenges after a successful summer transfer window. The latest news reports say that the Blues are making efforts to bolster their side.
As per the Swedish reports newspaper Expressen, they are aiming to land Bosnian-Herzegovinian international, Anel Ahmedhodzic in around £8 million deal.
The young Malmo defender has been impressive this season after spending the previous campaign as a loanee in the Hobro club of the Danish top-flight league.
In 2019, Anel left Nottingham Forest after playing near about three years and since then he has broken into the squads of Bosnia as well as made a breakthrough in the Sweden team in 2020.
Anel exhibits defensive abilities and can play both as a centre-back or a defensive midfielder. He was tipped to become the next big thing in football but couldn’t make a final jump until this year.
The 21 years old has attracted top scouts across Europe and Chelsea can offer him a contract of five years although coach, Lampard has brought in defensive players like Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr(loaned at Porto) this summer. No doubt Chelsea wants to prepare the future by bringing in top young prospects throughout the world.
