3 special things this playmaker could bring to Premier League giant

Chelsea may be keen for the services of Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho as Barcelona are willing to let go of the player.

This could see the Catalan secure the signature of his Brazilian compatriot Neymar from French giants PSG (Paris Saint-German). However, Chelsea’s interest is largely hinged on what the player could provide for them on the pitch as the interest intensifies up till this moment.

Since leaving the Mersey side club Liverpool, the Brazilian seems to be searching for a home but this seems far-fetched even as Chelsea presents a good alternative place for the player to find rest.

Following the news surrounding playmaker Coutinho with a possible move to Chelsea, we evaluate the three special things the playmaker could add to the side.

1. IMPROVED CREATIVITY FOR CHELSEA

The talented Brazilian is known for his skill and ball juggling ability just like that of former Barcelona ace Neymar Jnr. This may have swayed Chelsea’s interest in his signature in recent weeks.

He would bring a notable level of improvement to Chelsea’s creative aspiration on the pitch. This could be enhanced with the presence of the attacking duo of Hakim Ziyech and youngster Callum Hudson Odoi at Chelsea.

His presence could see the Blues flourish in the central areas like many of the Chelsea fans would love to see from the Stamford Bridge guy next season.

He could bring the required spark that would take Chelsea to the next level as (Frank) Lampard and his young side hopes for the best in the future.

2. COUPLE OF FREE-KICK

While Willian and David Luiz have delivered free-kicks for Chelsea on the standing note, Philippe Coutinho could join the list as he’s a free-kick specialist capable of delivering on his own level.

He has done the same for Liverpool and Bayern Munich, so expects him to do the same at Chelsea if the move becomes a reality. This would see him take free-kick responsibility from his range while Hakim Ziyech and Marcus Alonso negotiate for the one on the left side of the pitch.

Chelsea is a big side and could see opposing team resort to defending extensively during match day. But a piece of magic could save the day for the Blues as they aim for the top.

This is what he can do for the Chelsea side as speculations are still ongoing about his future next season.

3. NEW ATTACKING DIMENSION

The possible signing of Coutinho to Chelsea will offer the side the privilege to operate with a series of formation. This could initiate a new attacking rhythm and team structure at the club as Coutinho has got the mental awareness and aerial intelligence to swap position on the pitch.

This is why we even wonder the Catalans haste in shipping out the player in the stead of Chelsea’s N’golo Kante. He could ensure that the Blues gets the required freedom on the pitch while operating from a different position in Chelsea starting eleven.

This could enhance the flow of movement in Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side while making the Blues a kind of unpredictable on the pitch.

It would be to their advantage as the Brazilian superstar could reshuffle along with Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi in the final third for Chelsea.
