Kurt Zouma is likely to stay put at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer’s transfer window with West Ham United cooling their interest in signing the French defender.
West Ham United unlikely to pursue deal for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma. Around £4m apart in valuation & personal terms an issue. Zouma contract at Chelsea up in 2023 & happy to stay. West Ham remain in market for CB. Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic an option #WHUFC #CFC #Zouma

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Seth claim that The Hammers now look uncertain to meet Chelsea’s asking price for sanctioning Zouma’s sale and the player’s personal demands are too an issue for David Moyes’ side.
Zouma had been linked with an exit from the west London giants this summer in recent weeks with Chelsea prioritising an approach for the highly-promising Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde. This turn of events gave birth to rumours that Zouma could be sent in the opposite direction.
However. the France international is understood to be interested in staying in London rather than seal a move abroad which gave West Ham United a chance to make a move for the Chelsea man, chances of which now look quite bleak.
Zouma’s current deal at Stamford Bridge runs for another two summers and there has not been any talk of an extension yet with Thomas Tuchel keen on handing improved terms to the Dane Andreas Christensen.
