West Ham United are poised to complete the signing of Kurt Zouma from Chelsea in the next few days with talks underway between the two clubs over the deal.
The France international central defender Zouma has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in this summer’s transfer window amid the likes of West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur credited with an interest in the player.
Reports from The Telegraph back The Hammers to conclude the long-drawn negotiations with Chelsea and land Zouma’s signature in a £25 million worth transfer which will ensure Chelsea advancing in their approach to bring in Jules Kounde.
Thomas Tuchel’s camp are understood to be pushing for a deal to sign Kounde from Sevilla in a big-money move after a previous attempt for a cash-plus-player offer fell through following Zouma’s reluctance on heading in the opposite direction.
Chelsea have already signed a deal in principle with the Sevilla man who is in line to become Chelsea’s second signing of this summer after Romelu Lukaku’s return to the Blues shirt.
