Newest Chelsea FC recruits Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech are set to wreak havoc upon opposition defences next season in the Premier League. In a series of video clips posted on the Blues’ official Twitter page, the attacking duo are seen to be very sharp with their prowess in front of goal.

Footage shows Werner being extremely tactful in his ability to find the back of the net from his initial starting position. The 24-year old delivered a sharp turn on receiving the ball and fired his shot into the top-left corner of the net. His goalscoring aptness is highly regarded across Europe, evident by his record for RB Leipzig and the German national team.

Meanwhile, Ziyech’s effort on goal was no less brilliant than his new attacking partner’s exploit. The Moroccan international struck a thundering finish into the far corner of the net, a clear indication of his quality on the pitch.
Both players signed for Frank Lampard’s side in quick succession earlier this calendar year. Former Ajax talisman Ziyech’s move to Stamford Bridge was announced in February, with the 27-year joining the Blues on a five-year deal. However, the 24-year old Werner’s move to Chelsea FC this summer came as a shock to many.
The German international had been tipped to sign for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side after the Merseyside club had opened talks with the striker’s former side RB Leipzig. However, the Reds withdrew their interest in the forward over pricing concerns. Instead, Frank Lampard swooped in to finalize Werner’s signing in a swift manner.
