Germany international striker Timo Werner could call it quits at Chelsea in the summer transfer window due to his ‘annoyance’ with the head coach Thomas Tuchel.
It is suggested that Werner has been left happy with Tuchel’s treatment of him in the Chelsea fold and this turn of events could force the former to head out the exit door at Stamford Bridge before the next season kicks off.
Update #Werner: His possible departure can become a hot topic. Been told that Werner is annoyed of the fact that Tuchel is too critical & skeptical. There is no harmony. Timo likes #CFC a lot but he wants to play regularly. His big aim: A big role at the World Cup. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪 pic.twitter.com/VnyP8mqn0y

Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Werner could be close to leaving Chelsea in light of his desire to gain more first-team football in the build to this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar where he wants a major role with the German team.
The ex-RB Leipzig talisman had been shockingly linked with a move to rival club Liverpool earlier this summer but the speculation had been shot down with the Merseysiders bringing in Benfica frontman Darwin Nunez.
It remains to be seen whether Werner does feature in Tuchel’s plans at the Bridge for the near future or the Chelsea gaffer gives his nod to the forward seeking a move away.
