Tiemoue Bakayoko is not a part of Napoli’s long-term plans and the France international would be returning to Stamford Bridge this summer as his loan spell in Naples comes to a close.
The Serie A outfit had swooped in to sign the former AS Monaco man in the summer of 2020 as the midfielder looked certain to spend time warming the bench for then Chelsea boss Frank Lampard’s side.

According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Napoli are no longer in the reckoning to make a permanent move for the Blues loanee which spells out the end of Bakayoko’s season-long stint in Italian top-flight football.
It remains to be seen whether the newly appointed Blues gaffer Thomas Tuchel would be open to extending first-team involvement to the Stamford Bridge outcast or Bakayoko is headed for another exit this summer, perhaps even on a permanent basis.
Tuchel would be bracing himself for quite an eventful transfer window, rumours suggest, with his midfield regular Jorginho being linked away with a move from west London as Napoli come calling on the highly-rated Italy international.
