Tiemoue Bakayoko has linked up with his long-term suitors in the transfer market AC Milan on a two-season-long loan spell ahead of deadline day on Tuesday.
The Chelsea midfield player had been courted heavily by a host of clubs from Italy in this summer’s transfer window but AC Milan had been backed as the favourites to land his signature on a loan arrangement.

Reports from Chelsea’s official website confirm that the 27-year-old France international will be returning to San Siro this summer and join Stefano Pioli’s side, three years after his first spell in the AC Milan shirt during the 2018-19 campaign.
Bakayoko’s departure from the Stamford Bridge ranks in the final hours of the transfer window is unlikely to cause an overhaul of Thomas Tuchel’s camp with the outgoing player having been deemed surplus to requirements by the Chelsea boss.
Tuchel could be lured into making a move for his longstanding target Saul Niguez whose future at Atletico Madrid remains the subject of much speculation since the transfer window began earlier this summer.
