Tiemoue Bakayoko is still high on AC Milan’s shopping list for the summer

Tiemoue Bakayoko’s future at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer’s transfer window continues to dominate the headlines with AC Milan interested in signing the Frenchman.

Reports from Goal claim that with just a year remaining on his current deal with Thomas Tuchel’s Londoners, Bakayoko is high up AC Milan’s wishlist for the ongoing transfer window.

The 26-year-old French midfielder has courted interest from his homeland with Ligue 1 side Nice also believed to be in the fray for him but the player himself is keen on the idea of sealing a return to AC Milan where has starred on a loan stint before.

Bakayoko was shipped off to his former side AS Monaco last season but the French club decided against re-signing the midfield man and it is AC Milan who are backed to be leading the race to land the Chelsea player’s signature.

It is understood that the Italian giants would be open to the idea of a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy the player next summer but it remains up to Chelsea to decide on finding the perfect fit for Bakayoko with their own financial interests in mind.
