Three-man midfielder wishlist drawn up by Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia

Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has set her sights on finding fresh blood to induct into the midfield department at Thomas Tuchel’s disposal heading into the start of the 2021-2022 campaign.

The Blues have limited names in the centre of the park prior to the upcoming Premier League season kicking off with Tuchel sanctioning the departure of Billy Gilmour on a season-long loan deal to Norwich City earlier this summer.

N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho are currently the three influential players in the midfield department at Stamford Bridge and reports from The Express suggest that Granovskaia is keen to sign a new midfielder to bolster Chelsea’s depth in that position on the pitch.

West Ham United’s Declan Rice is understood to be the priority target for the west London giants despite The Hammers sticking firm to their pricing demands and the other two names on Granovskaia’s shopping list are French starlet Eduardo Camavinga and Marseille star Boubacar Kamara.

Camavinga is one name that has attracted much attention in the transfer market this summer with the teenage midfield talent being scouted by Manchester United before Chelsea joined the fray.
