Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is understood to be open to parting ways with Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner this coming summer in an overhaul of his ranks.
Both Lukaku and Werner have failed to impress in the Chelsea shirt of late and could be on the way out of the Bridge come the summer with Tuchel on the hunt for a big-name signing to bolster his attacking roster.
According to a report from Football Insider, it is claimed that in search of funds to fork out on a world-class striker to bring in ahead of the new season, Tuchel is more than willing to let go of Lukaku and Werner.
Lukaku had made the move to west London only last summer in a £97 million deal from Serie A champions Inter Milan with the Belgium international staging a return to Chelsea with high expectations of his ability in the final third.
The 28-year-old, however, has struggled to provide the output in front of the goal with the Belgian now unable to earn regular game time under Tuchel’s charge.
