Chelsea could run into an issue on the Jules Kounde front with Sevilla keen to get a player as a part of the Chelsea offer for their prized central defender.
Reports from The Express claim that with the spending regulations threatening to play spoilsport to Sevilla’s plans of using the transfer window to bring in a replacement for the outgoing Kounde who is a key target for Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea.
Moreover, Kounde’s old club Bordeaux have a sell-on clause in their kitty which will see them earn a major windfall from Kounde’s proposed transfer to the Blues in this summer’s transfer window.
The likes of Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen are being reckoned as players Tuchel could use as a makeweight in their approach for Kounde who is very open to the idea of sealing a move to the Champions League holders.
A lot, however, depends on Sevilla with the La Liga outfit reluctant to part ways with the defender should they not receive a convincing offer from Stamford Bridge with a cash-plus-player deal looking more attractive to them.
