Serie A heavyweights are reportedly eyeing up a deal for Chelsea’s Timo Werner as they find a replacement for wantaway forward Alvaro Morata.
Arsenal are understood to be edging closer to striking out an agreement for Morata’s move to North London which could force Juve to scout the market this summer for a viable replacement in the No.9 role.
According to a report from The Daily Mirror, Germany international Timo Werner, who has his Stamford Bridge future subject to much speculation since the turn of the year, is a top name on the wishlist for the Italian giants Juventus.
The former RB Leipzig talisman has just finished his second campaign at the Bridge but is yet to hit the heights that had been expected of him by the Chelsea supporters when he arrived in the Premier League in a £47.5 million transfer from his homeland.
Thomas Tuchel is tipped to part ways with some of his attacking options this summer after a misfiring run of displays from the Chelsea forward lineup has caused rumours afloat over the long-term futures of the likes of Werner and Christian Pulisic.
