According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has engaged in transfer discussions with representatives from Saudi Arabia.
Kante’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of this month, and the club is still interested in extending his stay. It was previously believed that an extension was close to being finalized in March.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano indicates that Kante is now being offered a staggering €100 million to join the Saudi Pro League.
Al-Ittihad, who are close to securing the signing of Karim Benzema, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr are both interested in acquiring Kante’s services.

However, Al-Ittihad is seriously considering a mammoth deal for the French star. The Saudi club’s delegates have already tabled the bid to Kante and his camp.
The midfielder’s proposed €100 million package would encompass his salary, image rights, and commercial agreements.
Kante initially joined Chelsea in a €30m transfer from Leicester in 2016 and has since made 269 appearances for the club. However, his playing time was limited to just nine matches this season due to a hamstring injury.

The Blues had aimed to retain Kante by offering him a lucrative two-year contract extension, but the 32-year-old now appears poised to leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.
If he were to join Al-Ittihad, Kante could reunite with former France teammate Karim Benzema. Real Madrid recently confirmed Benzema’s departure from the club.
