Rudiger takes Kai Havertz Transfer matters in his own hands

Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has targeted Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz from the very beginning of the transfer window.

He has been the top priority for the Blues and the management wants his move to Stamford Bridge to be done soon. But the transfer is delayed due to the demands of add-ons apart from the hefty fee by the German club.

This can make the move of this german international go from £72M to even €100M.

For more than a week, the two clubs couldn’t reach an agreement until when the matters were taken in hand by Rudiger.

According to the reports and also from a tweet, Antonio Rudiger is once again playing his cards to make the move as fast as possible. News sources also reported that Timo Werner’s move to Chelsea has been assisted by Rudiger himself.

During international duties for Germany, Rudiger had a talk with Timo for a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea defender, Rudiger’s positive suggestions played a key role in convincing the German international for the transfer. He is now determined to do the same with his other junior teammate, which happens to be Kai Havertz himself.

He disclosed through his twitter account-“I made my contribution to Timo, I hope that it will happen with Kai too.”

He revealed his role regarding the transfers of players to Chelsea while speaking to Christian Falk, a journalist. Now it is left to be seen if it still makes Lampard and co. wait for the transfer to happen.
