Real Madrid are willing to sanction the sale of Chelsea target Eden Hazard but will not be looking to part ways with the Belgian come January in the winter transfer window.
Hazard has been eyed up by the Blues coach Thomas Tuchel in his search for reinforcements in the final third despite spending big this summer on signing Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan.
Lukaku’s indifferent start to his Premier League return has forced Tuchel to scout the market for a new recruit with another former Chelsea star forward in Hazard topping the gaffer’s wishlist at the Bridge.
According to reports from the Spanish publication Sport ( via The Daily Mail), it is claimed that the La Liga giants Real Madrid have decided to cash in on the flop £90 million signing come the summer of 2022.
With Hazard’s wife due to give birth, the wide player calling it quits in the Spanish capital in the forthcoming January window is ruled out, with Chelsea expected to pursue the talks to land his signature ahead of the new season.
