RB Salzburg vs Chelsea – Chelsea’s Predicted Lineup | UEFA Champions League

Chelsea make the travels to Austria on Tuesday night to lock horns with Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League group stage fixture.

Graham Potter’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United in Saturday’s Stamford Bridge contest and would be looking for a swift return to winning ways.

Let us now have a look at how Graham Potter might set up his Chelsea side against RB Salzburg –

3-4-2-1

Kepa could be dropping down to the bench for well-earned rest and hand over the goalkeeping gloves to Edouard Mendy who has played second fiddle to the former of late.

In the backline, Kalidou Koulibaly is expected to be joined by the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva with Trevoh Chalobah on the bench.

Chelsea’s engine room should have Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic paring up as the Blues are unable to call upon N’Golo Kante owing to his recent surgery which sidelines him until after the New Year.

In the attacking third of the pitch, Kia Havertz could be seen leading the line for the visitors with Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic for company.
