Christian Pulisic is fully fit and is available for Chelsea’s Premier League opener against Brighton on Monday according to reports.
The American winger got injured in the FA Cup final against Arsenal in early August.
He was expected to return closer from his hamstring injury to the end of September. His recovery went better than expected and he regained full fitness before the season opener.
Sources tell CBS Sports he worked diligently with the club physios and that effort put in during the short offseason paid him off.
“His recovery went very well.” one source told CBS Sports. “He will train with the team from today [Wednesday].”
Despite the two new men, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell missing the season opener, Chelsea fans were understandably excited at the news of Pulisic’s return in the training.
