Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed talks are underway to sign Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech who is close to making the move to the French capital on deadline day.
The Moroccan playmaker emerged as a last-minute target ahead of Tuesday’s transfer window deadline for the Ligue 1 giants who are on the search for a new signing to bolster their short on depth front line.
PSG manager Galtier confirms: “We’re working on Hakim Ziyech deal, it’s true and talks are ongoing — I don’t want to say more as he’s Chelsea player”, he added. 🚨🔴🔵 #PSG #CFC

As quoted by the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Parisian outfit’s head coach has admitted that the club are pushing for the deal to be completed to bring in Ziyech but Galtier stopped short of adding more to his remarks.
“We’re working on Hakim Ziyech deal, it’s true and talks are ongoing — I don’t want to say more as he’s Chelsea player”.
Romano claims that both clubs are discussing on the formula of the deal which is expected to be a loan until the end of the season with PSG granted the option to buy clause should they choose to make Ziyech’s switch permanent.
The 29-year-old attacker had Ziyech excelled in Morocco’s dream run to the World Cup semi-finals in Qatar last year and his future in the Chelsea shirt had been the subject of much talk in recent weeks.
