Pat Nevin asks Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham to enjoy the moments as it can go soon

Chelsea’s young duo-Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi are warned by Pat Nevin about the potential danger that is waiting for them.

Pat points out the constant changing of the pecking order in the England team. He reflects on the fact that the same will occur at Chelsea too as Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech are almost fit to play.

Frank Lampard overhauled his squad with back to back summer signings that included big names. As the season has started, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have already been put into the starting XI. Hakim Ziyech is yet to become fit and feature for Chelsea.

Lampard already has a set trio for this season which is likely to be Werner, Havertz, and Pulisic and Ziyech operating from their back.

This is a threat to the youngsters who are featuring in their absence currently. Hudson couldn’t join the UCL winner Bayern Munich this transfer window despite their interest and a guarantee for a starting spot.

Nevin told the club’s official website: “You have to enjoy these moments because it can all change very quickly, no matter how high you are flying at any time.

Callum Hudson-Odoi looks like a stick-on for a place in the starting XI just like Ruben Loftus-Cheek. But if things do go opposite to their way when given chances, there are plenty of players willing to show that they also deserve chances as per Nevin. If the current youngsters like Mount and Hudson and Tammy don’t perform, the position will surely be grabbed by the likes of some other person there.
