Paris Saint Germain interested to strike a deal for Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger

The European Giant and previous year’s Champion’s League runners-up, Paris Saint-Germain are enquiring about the availability of Chelsea defender, Antonio Rüdiger. The defender is finding it hard to have more game time as he is down the pecking order with the likes of Thiago Silva, Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori all fighting.

The 27 years old defender has been frustrated by sitting on the sidelines for too long as Kurt Zouma made a perfect and seemingly undroppable partnership with Thiago Silva in the backline.

As per the reports of Le Parisien via Inside Futbol, Rudiger is thinking about a winter transfer in January despite assuring to fight for his place at the Stamford Bridge.

PSG can be a likeable option for him as the French club is in dire need of a defender after Thiago Silva left them this summer. The club wants to strengthen the defensive department after they sacked manager, Thomas Tuchel this evening.

Although interests have been shown from PSG, Barcelona and West ham are the other two clubs looking to buy Rudiger. But till now, an official statement hasn’t been released, so a huge uncertainty lies ahead of Rudiger’s career.

The defender has played just one game so far in the Premier League and just 382 minutes in all the competitions for the Blues. Rudiger’s current contract will expire in the year 2022 and it is to be seen if he stays till the end of his tenure or not.
