Could not do anything about the first goal, but should have got a stronger hand to stop Pukki’s goal. Came out of his line when he needed to nicely
Cesar Azpilicueta: 5
Could have done better in the build-up to the first goal and was wasteful when he got into advanced positions.
Andreas Christensen: 6
Steady performance from the academy product but will feel he could have done better for Norwich’s second goal when he played Pukki onside. Had a header well saved by Krul in the first half.
Kurt Zouma: 6
Steady performance but does not look comfortable playing out from the back and will be the most likely player to be replaced when Rudiger returns from injury
Emerson: 7
Looks to have won the battle for the left-back spot against Alonso and provided another good performance against Norwich.
Jorginho: 5
Jorginho was poor for the first goal allowing Cantwell to glide past him too easily. Played some good passes but did not press well enough. Booked
Kovacic: 6.5
Industrious in midfield and made some good tackles and got the assist for Abraham’s second goal. will hope to keep his place when Kante returns from injury.
Mason Mount: 8
Looks to have bright future at Chelsea under Lampard and showed again here why he is so highly regarded by taking his goal well and will look to keep his scoring run going.
Ross Barkley: 6.5
Was a late inclusion after Pedro’s injury during the warm-up. Lost the ball too easily with some loose passes.
One dazzling run where he skipped past 4 Norwich players was the highlight.
Christian Pulisic: 7.5
Will get the assist for Mount’s goal and was full of running and pressed well. Will want to add goals to his game.
Tammy Abraham: 9
The star of the show and justified his inclusion ahead of Giroud. Took both his goals well and held the ball up well.
