New Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on a move for Mason Mount whose future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Stalled negotiations between the player and the Blues has seen the England international linked with a host of Premier League clubs and interest from Europe in Mount’s services could also be on the cards.
According to a report from The Times, it is claimed that Bayern Munich are considering launching a bid for the Chelsea contract rebel Mount who will have just one year remaining on his deal in west London at the end of the season.
Tuchel is said to be a big admirer of Mount’s talent with the latter enjoying a wonderful spell of form when Tuchel was in the Chelsea dugout and was part of his Champions League-winning side in 2021.
Bayern, however, will have to fend off competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City with the English top flight big boys waiting eagerly in the wings to sign Mount.
