Nathan Aké is a top name on Thomas Tuchel’s summer wishlist with the Chelsea boss said to be keen on moving in for the young centre-back.
The Holland international, a former product of the Chelsea youth setup, has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge as of late with Tuchel expected to dip into the market for defensive reinforcements.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are both due to leave the Chelsea fold come June 30 and sign for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively which has put the pressure on Tuchel to bring in replacements before the next season kicks off.
Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has added to the speculation on the Ake front with a fresh claim that the Manchester City defender remains a priority target for Thomas Tuchel who could be set to turn his attention away from Matthijs de Ligt.
The Juventus contract rebel is certain to be made available for a steep price tag by the Serie A giants which could force Tuchel to pull the plug on a potential approach for the Dutchman and instead eye up his compatriot Ake.
