As stated by Football London, Napoli is reportedly interested in signing USMNT star Christian Pulisic from Chelsea for the upcoming season.
After a successful season, Napoli’s owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, is willing to make significant investments to further strengthen the team, and Pulisic is among their transfer targets for the summer.
The 24-year-old American international joined Chelsea in the winter of 2019 after a stint at Borussia Dortmund. While he initially had a promising start, Pulisic struggled with injuries and fell down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Currently, he is not considered an integral part of the team’s plans and is likely to be on the move during the summer transfer window. In the current season, Pulisic has made 27 appearances but has spent less than 1,000 minutes on the pitch.

The Blues is considering offloading the attacker in the upcoming summer transfer window as his contract expires in 2024. The club would prefer to receive a decent fee for him rather than losing him on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, Napoli has expressed keen interest in signing the American winger. The Serie A giants recently achieved great success by winning the Serie A title after a long drought, and now their owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, aims to strengthen the squad for continued success and a push for the Champions League.

Despite Pulisic’s underwhelming performances at Chelsea, Napoli believes that the 24-year-old still has potential and could revitalize his career at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
With uncertainty surrounding the future of Hirving Lozano, Pulisic could be the ideal addition to bolster Napoli’s attacking options.
