Serie A club, Napoli wants to sign Chelsea’s loanee, Tiemoue Bakayoko permanently and therefore has started off discussions with the Blues about his contract despite his loan move happening just some months back.
Gattuso’s side won the cat’s race to sign Bakayoko on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window and since then the club has benefitted from his presence in the midfield.
European clubs like PSG and AC Milan were keen to sign him too but eventually, he moved to Napoli and since then, he has featured in four games so far in Serie A as well as played two matches in the Europa League.
His performances in the middle of the ground have earned the trust of the manager, Gattuso and as per the Football Italia reports, Napoli is already on the verge to secure him permanently from Chelsea.
The Chelsea loanee midfielder is enjoying life in Italy and hopes to stay there as long as possible. The 26 years old player has played 43 games in his Chelsea career and it seems like the end of his journey.
Napoli has started off excellently in Serie A as they sit with 14 points- in the third-place behind league leader AC Milan.
