Mateo Kovacic, Denis Zakaria and Wesley Fofana have returned to training ahead of Chelsea going up against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League round of 16 first leg tie, as reported by football.london.
The Blues have suffered setbacks on the injury front of late, so with Kovaic, Zakaria and Fofana making their way back to the fold, Graham Potter will be handed a welcome boost for his squad selection.
Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and N’Golo Kante, however, are sidelined for the upcoming fixture but that is unlikely to dent Potter’s plans with the Chelsea boss able to call upon the services of his new additions.
With the new boy Joao Felix adjusting to life well in west London, the Portugal international could be in line to operate in the No.10 role for the Blues in behind Kai Havertz who would be leading the front line.
It is said that following Felix’s impressive displays of late for his new side, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly is already keen on a permanent transfer in the summer window for the Atletico Madrid loanee.
