Mason Mount’s priority is to remain at Chelsea despite the interest shown in his services by a host of clubs in the Premier League and abroad.
The England playmaker is wanted by the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Juventus who are all said to be waiting eagerly in the wings ahead of this summer’s transfer window when Mount could be on the move.
His talks with the Blues over a new deal have hit a roadblock due to wage demands and the Stamford Bridge giants are considering cashing in him in the summer rather than lose him for nothing in 2024.
According to a report from The Athletic, Mount’s priority has been to stay put in west London with Chelsea despite the negotiations being at an impasse as his affection for the club is well documented.
Chelsea boss Graham Potter has publically admitted that he is keen to retain the wantaway Mount who has been selected by the new manager despite his struggles for form this season.
