Chelsea will face Manchester United in their away game in Old Trafford and Chelsea coach Frank Lampard will likely bring back his team in winning terms.
Both the coaches- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard have struggled with their teams early in this new campaign, as their defensive units have collapsed several times. Questions have been raised on both their defences but both the units had their job well done in the UCL group stage match.
The Red Devils appeared to be on the right track with two back to back victories against Newcastle United in 4-1 and beating the mighty PSG 2-1 in the group stage UCL match. Earlier, their 6-1 home defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs set the alarm bells ringing for the club.
On the other hand, Chelsea has done a massive squad overhaul this summer transfer window but still, problems have been plaguing the defensive department of Lampard. The introduction of Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva gave a defensive solidity in the previous match against Sevilla that ended in a 0-0 draw.

Chelsea’s Billy Gilmour will be the absentee in this match as he is recovering from his knee injury. Coach Lampard will keep the same squad that has played against Sevilla in the UCL group stage match. There is a chance of Hakim Ziyech starting the match from the very beginning.
It will be an even match with both the teams having enough game-changers in their respective area. Manchester United may bring new signing, Edinson Cavani later in the second half if things go out of hand.
