Manchester United are said to be eyeing up a summer swoop for Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic who is on the lookout for a new club to get a career lifeline.
Pulisic has struggled to earn regular game time at Stamford Bridge in recent seasons and the American international could be one of the first names to head out the exit door when the transfer window reopens for business come the summer.
Man United have been credited with a long standing interest in Pulisic and the Red Devils could return with a formal approach for the Chelsea winger as Eric ten Hag prepares to show the door to a number of his first-team players and raise funds.
According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that the Old Trafford outfit could be seen parting ways with Brandon Williams, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Teden Mengi to finance a move for Pulisic.
Chelsea are expected to look for a fee closer to £37 million to give the nod for Pulisic’s exit later this year with the Blues camp hoping to rebuild their squad over the summer and cash in on the former Dortmund starlet.
