Manchester City are said to be ready to part ways with Nathan Ake for the right price with Chelsea keeping close tabs on the centre-back this summer, according to a report from 90min.
Thomas Tuchel is in the transfer market for defensive reinforcements to try and overhaul his roster which has lost established first-team regulars in Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen who have left on free transfers.
Former Chelsea academy product Ake is rumoured to be one of the names scouted by the Chelsea camp with the 27-year-old Holland international to be made available for sale by the City boss Pep Guardiola for the right offer.
Chelsea’s interest in the Dutchman, however, will be given a tough contest by local rivals Tottenham Hotspur with the North Londoners turning their attention to Ake after failure in their pursuit of Inter Milan mainstay Milan Škriniar.
The likes of West Ham United, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Newcastle United are also credited with an interest in the Man City player with a loan deal said to be their preference.
