Liverpool are said to be planning a double raid on Chelsea in the upcoming summer transfer window for Levi Colwill and Mason Mount.
While the England midfielder Mount has long been touted as a top name on the summer wish list for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp, Chelsea’s promising defender Colwill appears to be another target at Anfield.
According to a report from goal.com, it is claimed that Liverpool are admirers of both Mount and Colwill, however, striking deals to sign the Chelsea duo could prove to be a challenge for them despite Klopp’s willingness to rebuild his squad.
Manchester United are believed to be the clear frontrunners to land Mount’s signature this summer should the playmaker choose to head out the Stamford Bridge exit door amid his long drawn-out contract standoff with the board.
Colwill, on the back of his impressive loan stint with Brighton this season, would likely be retained by Chelsea who want keep hold of the young centre-back despite Brighton’s strong interest in re-signing him.
