Chelsea make the travels to St. James’ Park on Saturday with Thomas Tuchel’s table-toppers hoping to claim the three points from the outing away from home turf.
The Blues will head into the contest on the back of their stalemate against Burnley just prior to the recent international break and Thomas Tuchel will hope for his players to return to winning ways.
Burnley salvaged a much-coveted point from their travels to the Bridge but with other results going their way, Chelsea remain at the summit of the league table with a three-point cushion.
Chelsea have emerged winners in their last three away games in the top flight this season without shipping a single goal and have conceded just once on the road across the campaign so far which makes them heavy favourites going up against a misfiring Leicester City outfit.
Brendan Rodger’s men remain a far shot away from reaching the standards set by them last season and with just two wins out of their ten league outings, Leicester are not where they expected to be in the standings.
A 1-1 draw against Leeds United last time around they stepped out there on the pitch meant that the Midlanders sit 12th in the Premier League table and the speculation that surrounds the future of the manager Brendan Rodger has only added to the worries at the club.

TEAM NEWS
Chelsea will have growing concerns on the injury front with the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount likely to be assessed further in the build-up to the forthcoming fixture.
Lukaku had been on the sidelines before the international break but the Belgian forward made a return to training earlier this week in a sign that he could be in the mix to feature come Saturday.
Mount was not available for the England squad, however, will be in contention to make the team sheet for Chelsea after his recent dental surgery.
Mateo Kovacic and Timo Werner remain long-term absentees for Thomas Tuchel and are not expected to play any part in the weekend affair.
KEY BATTLE
Jamie Vardy vs Antonio Rudiger
Leicester City’s fortunes will depend upon hitman Jamie Vardy who is always a menace to deal with in the final third for opposing defences and the story shall be the same for Chelsea.
The Blues have defensive mainstay Antonio Rudiger to keep Vardy in check and despite the former’s uncertain future in the English capital beyond the next summer, he remains as pivotal as ever to Thomas Tuchel and Co.
MATCH PREDICTION
Chelsea’s tremendous form of late and Leicester City’s downward spiral makes the visitors to King Power Stadium strong favourites to secure the three points.
