The latest injury setback for Chelsea wing-back Reece James could sideline him for the next four games, according to a report from The Athletic.
James returned to the team sheet in emphatic manner last time around in the 4-0 rout of basement side Burnley with the England international recording a superb goal and an assist to his name.
The 22-year-old, however, looks set for another spell on the sidelines with a hamstring/muscular injury and would be in line to sit out the upcoming four games for the top four challengers Chelsea.
His absence would come as a major blow on the injury front for the Blues boss Thomas Tuchel who was pleased to have his wing-back’s services back following a two-month-long layoff for James owing to a hamstring injury.
Tuchel could be forced to draft the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic in the right wing-back slot with skipper Cesar Azpilicueta also missing from the fold as he works his way to full fitness.
