After making his move from Real Madrid to Chelsea on a permanent basis earlier in the summer transfer window, midfielder Mateo Kovacic is now feeling settled on and off the pitch.

But since signing his deal with the Stamford Bridge unit as a permanent player, the Croatian Kovacic feels a lot calmer and is finally adapting to English football also feeling good, ‘Maybe it is because I have signed here [permanently] so now I am calmer, Because last year was a loan, it was maybe more difficult to prove myself, but this year I feel a lot better because I had one year’s adaptation and now I am feeling good.
He further praised the Chelsea staff but also stated that he wants his family to feel happy that they are now in the London capital, ‘The guys are amazing, the staff is really good and my family is happy. It is really important to me that my family feels good and for now everything is amazing so we are enjoying everything about London and Chelsea, it’s really nice.’
