Kai Havertz has reportedly left his Germany side to complete his delayed transfer to Chelsea. He has taken a flight to London on Friday to finalize his deal.
He will miss England’s Nations League match against Switzerland on Sunday.

Joachim Loew, Germany’s head coach allowed the 21-year-old midfielder to make an exit from his camp.
“Of course, we would have preferred if he could have fully concentrated on the national team. But we are aware of the importance for Bayer Leverkusen and Kai,” Germany team director Oliver Bierhoff told the German FA website
Havertz will join his international team-mate, Timo Werner, after having an impressive career in Bayer Leverkusen. In 150 competitive games, the England midfielder scored 46 goals.
Havertz will become Germany’s expensive footballer Surpassing Timo Werner, if the deal completes. His move to the Stamford Bridge will cost around 100 million euros.

“If he were to travel to Switzerland and return, I believe, he’d have to go into quarantine. The player, of course, wants a good start at Chelsea and this would be a disadvantage for him,” Low said.
“He absolutely wants to take this step. I acknowledge the importance and the scale of the move,” added the Germany Coach.
It will certainly be a big boost to the Blues if Havertz joins and is available for Chelsea’s season opener against Brighton.
