Juventus want Christian Pulisic as part of the Matthijs de Ligt deal with Chelsea who are keen on moving in for the unsettled Dutch defender.
De Ligt has reportedly handed in the transfer request at Juventus this summer and the Holland international has his heart set on joining long-standing suitors Chelsea before the next season kicks off.
With the young centre-back emerging as a top defensive target for the new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly, Thomas Tuchel will be backed by the club’s board to bring in De Ligt and bolster his depleted ranks at the back.
According to a report from 90min, Juventus are interested in a swap deal with Chelsea involving the exchange of either Timo Werner or Christian Pulisic but the latter is understood to be their preferred option to be used as makeweight.
Chelsea are open to parting ways with the American winger Pulisic in this summer’s transfer window with the attacker failing to impress the fans and the backroom staff alike following his move from Dortmund in 2019.
