Juventus are ready to cash in on Chelsea’s on-loan midfielder Denis Zakaria when the Swiss international’s loan spell comes to an end this summer.
The 26-year-old Zakaria signed for the Blues last summer in a season long loan deal which included a £27 million option to buy to make the transfer permanent.
Chelsea, however, are said to have other options on the table ahead of the coming transfer window with England duo Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice the other names on the west London outfit’s shopping list to reinforce their midfield.
According to a report from the Evening Standard, it is claimed that Juventus are hopeful that Zakaria’s impressive displays at the Bridge after the World Cup in Qatar could encourage other English clubs to move in for their loanee.
The Turin giants are in crisis both on and off the pitch and with Juventus accused of breaching financial regulations, they could face a potential 15-point deduction which could set the stage for a number of exits over the summer from the ranks.
