Juventus are in line to pose a threat to Chelsea’s hopes of landing Aurelien Tchouameni with the Serie A giants keeping close tabs on the France international midfield talent.
Tchouameni is understood to be one of the top names on the wishlist for the Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel who is eyeing up reinforcements for his midfield roster come the next summer’s transfer window.
Saul Niguez’s addition to the Chelsea camp on deadline day this summer has not worked for either party and the Spain international looks likely to return to parent club Atletico Madrid following the end of his loan spell.
Chelsea’s pursuit of the 21-year-old Monaco first-team regular Tchouameni could take a hit with reports from Italian news publication Tuttosport crediting Juventus with a strong interest in signing the midfielder ahead of other suitors in the race.
The Turin-based outfit are looking to ring in changes of their own next summer and are looking at the in-demand Tchouameni as a viable name to add to the ranks but will be wary of the intense competition they face from the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.
