Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino set for further talks with the Chelsea board

Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino are set for further talks with the Chelsea board who have narrowed down their search to these two names.

Recent speculation has suggested that the former Spain and Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has dropped down the shortlist drawn up by Chelsea who are committing to a thorough search for their new manager to take over from Frank Lampard in the summer.

According to a report from The Telegraph, it is claimed that Nagelsmann and Pochettino have been tapped by the Blues who are in line to hold further discussions with the duo with the season heading into the final stages.

The ex-Tottenham Hotspur head coach Pochettino had impressed the Chelsea officials when he was considered by the club last year before the appointment of Graham Potter and the former could be set to have a fresh round of talks with his suitors.

Chelsea have insisted that there is no favourite yet for the Stamford Bridge top job despite Nagelsmann’s name being heavily linked to the Blues who have brought in Frank Lampard as their caretaker manager until the end of the season.
