Jadon Sancho’s price-tag revealed to Chelsea FC amid transfer interest from the Blues

Chelsea FC have been told that signing Jadon Sancho would cost the Blues an enormous fee of €130 million. The 20 year old winger is also wanted desperately by Chelsea FC’s arch-rivals Manchester United FC.

Sancho, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, has been the source of major transfer speculation in recent months. After the English international’s terrific performances this season for his side in the Bundesliga, there is a major possibility of Sancho leaving Dortmund for another top team. However, Dortmund have been sticking to their massive price-tag for Sancho as they do not want to lose on their star player on the cheap.

Despite Manchester United FC rumored to be the frontrunner in the race to sign Sancho, the Blues also have been linked with the youngster. Chelsea FC boss Frank Lampard has been on the hunt for a new attacking option for the Blues, and Sancho could be the perfect candidate for the job.

With Pedro already on the move to AS Roma, and Willian widely expected to leave as well, Chelsea FC requires a winger in the transfer market. Sancho could be the ideal addition to the Blues first-team squad in such a scenario. Lampard has been scouting Bundesliga talents of late, with Timo Werner having already been signed from RB Leipzig.

Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is next on Lampard’s shopping list. However, a move for the German international has been unable to be finalized in the past weeks. With Real Madrid too after Havertz’s signature, the Blues could look to Sancho as an alternative.

The Dortmund star might cost a bit more than what Chelsea FC would have to pay for landing Havertz. However, it would be money well spent considering the talent of the 20-year old attacker and his exploits in the Bundesliga over the past two years.

A possible attacking trio of Werner, Pulisic, and Sancho could prove to be deadly in front of goal. Frank Lampard would be on a mission to win the Premier League title next year with the Blues, considering how much money he has spent this summer. Sancho’s addition could be the final piece of the jigsaw for Chelsea FC’s title challenge next season.
