Jadon Sancho is reportedly unlikely to make a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window despite the winger being close to leaving Manchester United on a temporary basis.
Sancho had emerged as a surprise target for the Stamford Bridge giants ahead of the mid year transfer window with Chelsea on the hunt for much-needed reinforcements to freshen up their misfiring front line.
According to a report from teamTALK, it is claimed that while United will consider allowing Sancho to exit in a short term loan deal come January, linking up with United’s rivals Chelsea is not on the cards for the English winger.
There had been speculation of late which suggested that Sancho had his head turned by interest from the Chelsea camp with the player unhappy with his bit-part role under the new Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag.
As the Blues are preparing to offload first-team outcast Christian Pulisic in the January transfer window, Graham Potter’s west Londoners were linked with a move for the ex-Borussia Dortmund forward Sancho.
