Inter Milan are said to be uninterested in exploring a swap deal for Chelsea summer target Andre Onana which could also see Blues No.1 Kepa Arrizabalaga going in the opposite direction to San Siro.
Chelsea are desperate to sign a new shot stopper over the summer with current first team options – Kepa and Edouard Mendy – both certain to be deemed surplus to requirements after their misfiring displays this season.
The former Ajax No.1 Onana has emerged as the priority target for the Chelsea camp but convincing Inter is proving to be a tough task with the Champions League finalists not willing to hold talks over a swap deal for Onana.
According to a report from the Italian news outlet TUTTOmercatoWEB, it is claimed that Inter want cash for the goalkeeper and a fee in the region of €60-70 million could help Chelsea land their summer target.
The San Siro outfit are looking to balance their books and Onana’s sale will help them do that while also allowing them to bring in Empoli’s Guglielmo Vicario – the first name on Inter’s goalkeeping shortlist.
